It’s summer which means the drinks are flowing, and while that’s typically a great thing, we all know that sugary beverages can take a toll on our health, both the next morning (sugary drinks = hello hangover) and on our waistline. Drinking doesn’t have to mean hangovers and weight gain, though! Try these 3 summer cocktail recipes which are lower in sugar and carbohydrates than typical cocktails but just as fun as their more caloric counterparts!
Ginger-Lemon Mule
1.5 oz Vodka
6 oz Health-Ade Ginger & Lemon Kombucha
Ice
Lemon
1.Fill glass with ice
2.Add vodka, kombucha, and a squirt of lemon juice to taste
3.Mix well
4.Garnish with lemon wedge
This cocktail may only contain 3 ingredients, but it’s certainly not lacking in flavor. While super tasty and easy to make, its best property is that the probiotics in it from the kombucha will actually help to usher the alcohol out of your body and leave you and your gut hangover-free the next morning!
Lemon Blueberry Sangria
1 ½ cups Chopped strawberries
1 ½ cups Chopped mandarin oranges
1 ½ cups Chopped pineapple
1 cup Chopped kiwi
1 cup Blueberries
1 ½ cups Halved red grapes
½ cup Brandy
1 750 ml bottle Moscato
3 cups Lemon lime sparkling water
1. In a large pitcher, layer the chopped fruit
2. In a different pitcher, mix together brandy, Moscato, and sparkling water
3. Pour liquid mixture over the fruit

Skinny Spicy Margarita
2 oz Silver tequila
½ oz St. Germain Liquor
¾ oz Truvia
¾ oz Fresh Lime Juice
1-2 Slices Jalapeno
Ice
Salt for the rim
1.Wet the rim of the margarita glass & dip glass in salt
2.Combine all ingredients except for the ice in a cocktail shaker and shake well
3.Put ice in glass and pour liquid from cocktail shaker into glass
4.Garnish with lime wedge & a That’s it Mango Chili bar!
